At our school, the teachers always get the kids to write about their weekends. Its hard for kids to do it over and over and over again. We have tried to encourage them to move away from this and do something more creative...
I am so glad you can use them! How strange that your child's teacher always uses the weekend thing when there are so many great journal prompts out there.
