In addition to writing this Minds in Bloom and creating teaching resources, I also write nonfiction books for children. I get a few extras with each contract. So, rather than having them pile up in my office, I have decided to give them away to teachers so they can be used in classrooms. If this first contest goes well, I will probably do one a week.





About the Book
River Food Chains is a Heineman Libraries title (Capstone) geared for grades 3-6. In addition to text, there are also colorful pictures, sidebars, a glossary, and a "find out more" section. How to Enter

If you are already subscribed to the newsletter, then all you need to do is comment and say so. I will be notifying the winner by email, and I will be getting your email from the subscriber list, so don't skip this step or I won't be able to contact you if you win. Also, please be sure your first name is on your comment so I can find you on my subscriber list. Contest ends Friday evening when I will use the random number thingy to pick a winner.
