Easy Task Card Storage without the Laminating

Don't have the time, energy, or money to laminate the task cards you just purchased? Try using a small photo album for 4x6 pictures. I got this one at our local drug store for $1.99. But I also saw this one on Amazon that hold 36 cards for just $1.29!

It is possible that some task cards will be too large but the ones I create fit perfectly. The little albums are easy to store and you don't have to worry about losing any of the cards. Your students can just flip through the book to complete the cards. Easy Peasy!

You can find this set of Elapsed Time Task Cards and over a hundred more sets for a variety of topics  in my Teachers Pay Teachers Store

I would love to know how you store your task cards. If you have a picture, please send it to reallyrachel@gmail.com. If I use it in a blog post, I will compensate your with products from my store!

This looks like a great way to avoid the hassle of laminating (lots of extra steps, work, time) AND a great way to organize! Thanks for the awesome tip.

The verification process to comment was tedious...very hard to read or hear.

After stumbling across this I have finally found a use for those empty photo albums in my cupboard. This is a great idea that saves on laminating (I use hundreds of laminating sheets) and they are all in one place. I can fit in a number of different sets of tasks cards in an album, and have used sticky tabs to label where each one starts. I also wrote on the spine of the album what is in there. Thanks for the great idea.

Love this idea! Much easier to store and access than all the plastic bags and no wasted time waiting to be able to laminate!

I just found your blog from Teaching with a Mountain View. I love the idea of using the photo albums! I've been trying to come up with a way to store/display all of my task cards and this helps a lot! Thanks

I love this photo album idea for my task cards. Most of mine have been laminated and then I place them in a photo box from Michael's.

One thing I really am going to try though is using this for my bulletin board titles. I cut out letters with my Cricket and hate having to do again for loss of the sandwich bags. This would be a great way to have them all in one spot. Thanks.
